Despite the difficulties posed by the pandemic, four of our sisters in Christ were successfully baptized this May 2021 at Novaliches Christian Fellowship.

Sis. Marites Biglang Awa, Sis. Angela Jhane Semera, Sis. Marinel Santos and Sis. Merly Signey decided to obey the sacred ordinance of baptism, an example set by no less than Jesus Christ himself.

The opportunity arose with the easing of restrictions in the National Capital Region Plus to the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine, which allowed for church gatherings up to 10% capacity. .

In line with the quarantine guidelines, NCF limited the attendees and ensured social distancing at all times both during the live airing of the worship service and the baptism proper.

The baptism Sunday was made more special for Sis. Marites Biglang Awa, Sis. Marinel Santos and Sis. Merly Signey due to the concurrent celebration of Mother’s day, and the brief fellowship and blessing of mothers via zoom led by Sis. Dang Baldonado.
