In 2007, Sis. Percy Guzman was diagnosed to have a goiter. A goiter is an enlargement of the thyroid gland which can lead to a swelling of the neck or larynx. In her case, it grew into a size of a guava. This condition involuntarily caused her to lose weight.

In 2009, she was advised to undergo surgery. But before the procedure, she had to go through a series of tests. Unfortunately, it was then that she was found out to have a weak heart making her unfit for the operation.

Her husband, Bro. Justy Gu zman, thought it best to as k for divine healing. After all, our God truly heals. In one Sunday Worship Service, she remembers being called by Rev. Mark Dantes at the alta r for a healing prayer with fellow brethren. When Foreign Missionary Pastor Rob Sch neider visited around that time, he also laid hands on her.

After a while, during a check-up, her doc tor noticed that the lump on her neck seemed to disappear and asked her what she did. She replied, "wala akong ginawa, si Lord ang may ginawa." Her goi ter became smaller! Praise God! An operation is no longer necessary.

Sis. Percy has this to say to all who are sick, "wag kayong mawalan ng pag-asa." "Nandiyan si Lord,siya ang manggagamo t. Sa mga may kasamaan ng loob, matuto kayong magpatawad. Hindi kikilos si Lord pag may bitternes ka sa heart."
